Audition Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The “Search for Ali” competition (the “Competition”) offers members of the public the opportunity to submit a video audition for the role of Ali Rose. Selected entrants (the “Winners”) will be invited to attend a live, in-person audition in front of the producers.

2. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
• Entrants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

3. How to Enter

• To enter, participants must:
  • Complete the official entry form, including their full name and contact details
  • Submit a video audition of themselves performing the opening riff of “Tough Lover” and a verse and a chorus of the song “Bound to You”. Songs must be in this exact order, any videos containing anything else will be disqualified.
• Video submissions must:
  • Be no longer than 90 seconds
  • Clearly show the entrant performing live (no lip-syncing)
  • Be the entrant’s own work
• Entries must be received by 11:59pm (BST) on 1 May 2026.
• Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

4. Selection Process

• All valid entries will be reviewed by representatives of Tough Lover Theatricals.
• A shortlist of entrants will be selected based on criteria including:
  • Vocal ability
  • Performance quality
  • Suitability for the role
  • Stage presence and star quality
• Shortlisted entrants will be contacted using the details provided.

5. The Prize

• Winners will receive:
  • An invitation to attend a live audition for the role of Ali Rose in front of the producers and creative team
• The prize:
  • Does not guarantee casting in the production
  • Has no cash alternative
  • Is non-transferable

6. Audition & Expenses

• Winners will be required to attend the live audition at a specified date and location.
• Travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered.

7. Use of Submissions

• By entering, participants:
  • Grant Tough Lover Theatricals the right to view, assess, and internally share submitted materials for casting purposes
  • Agree that their name, likeness, and clips from their submission may be used for promotional and publicity purposes related to the Competition and production

8. Data Protection

• Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and used solely for the administration of this Competition and related casting purposes.

9. General

• The organisers reserve the right to:
  • Amend or withdraw the Competition at any time
  • Disqualify entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, or in breach of these terms
• The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

By submitting an entry, participants confirm they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
